Sustainability requirements for building development, only applicable for buildings with GFA >2,000 m2. Minimum requirement 1 pearl, government projects must achieve min. 2 pearls

• Scorecard submission to demonstrate required number of “pearls” submitted by PQP.

Municipality architectural approval

• DCR

• Architectural planning drawing set (plans, sections elevations), including code analysis

Final submissions required to complete registration of the development contractor

At this stage the contractor is able to make generate the building permit and make all remaining construction submissions, including fence permits, site clearance permits and construction phase NOCs.

No objections’ required for impacted site assets. This system is only triggered in some instances where site clearance is not achieved.

This submission can be made by the consultant or the client. The ‘utilities condition’ will be a bullet pointed item on the affection plan, generally written in arabic with text to the effect of “works may only proceed subject to approval from utility owners”

These items can be submitted during construction, some engagement is permitted by authorities during design stage

Telecommunications submission

• Estidama/Du proposal of connection box within building. This must be fully approved before ground floor of building is completed.

• Drawings demonstrating proposed connection location.

Approval of CCTV to be connected to ADMCC network

• Initial engagement

• Printed CCTV coverage drawings stamped by ADMCC
