Project Timeline & Key Milestones: Our 3-Month Sprint to Illumination

Month 1: Foundation, Core Securing & Intensive Outreach


Goal: Establish core strategy, secure critical foundational elements (venue, key speakers, initial sponsors), and launch initial marketing efforts.

Intensity: Extreme. Many tasks run concurrently.

Week 1-2: IMMEDIATE KICK-OFF & FOUNDATION LAYING


Internal Kick-off Meeting (Founder): CRITICAL: Official launch, full blueprint review, immediate role assignments for all Kru members. Emphasize urgency.

Budget Finalization (Finance Lead): CRITICAL: Lock down the detailed ETB budget. Begin simultaneous rapid research for all major vendor quotes.

Core Team Formation (Founder/Operations Lead): Finalize all key Kru roles.

Venue Research & Provisional Booking (Operations Lead): CRITICAL: Identify 3-5 top venue options. Secure provisional booking within 7 days.

Speaker & Panelist Target List (Content Lead): Finalize target list for all sessions, including Bereket Tesfaye, Dawit Getachew, Yonas Gorfe, Illasha Fekadu. Develop personalized invitation packets.

Sponsorship Prospect List (Sponsorship Lead): Research and identify top 20-30 prospects. Develop tiered "Covenant of Support" proposals immediately.

Task 1.5.1: Kru Principles Workshop (Founder/Lead Facilitator) - Integrated into kick-off.

Task 3.5.1: Audience Persona Development (Marketing & Content Team Lead) - High-speed development.

Kru Action: Secure venue. Initiate simultaneous high-touch outreach to ALL priority speakers/panelists AND top-tier sponsors.

Week 3-4: COMMITMENT CONVERSION & DIGITAL LAUNCH


Secure Venue Contract (Operations Lead): Finalize and sign venue agreement.

Speaker & Panelist Confirmation (Speaker Liaison): CRITICAL: Aim to confirm 80%+ of ALL key speakers/panelists. Get signed contracts, A/V riders, travel needs ASAP.

Sponsorship Outreach & Conversion (Sponsorship Lead): CRITICAL: Secure 30%+ of target sponsorships. Push for commitments, not just inquiries.

Website Development & Launch (Marketing Lead): CRITICAL: Launch full, functional event website (not just a "coming soon" page). Include registration, speaker bios, basic agenda.

Early Bird Registration Planning (Marketing Lead/Registration): Set pricing, launch date, and aggressive promotion strategy.

Content Outline Finalization (Content Lead): Detailed session descriptions, learning objectives, moderator briefs.

Kru Action: Intense follow-up for speaker/sponsor commitments. Prepare for early bird marketing blitz.
