● First, an NGO Field Worker uses the mobile app to capture geotagged photos and evidence right at the project site.
● Second, this raw data is uploaded, and the NGO's own Admin reviews it on the web dashboard. This internal check is a key part of our data integrity model.
● Third, once satisfied, the NGO Admin signs a transaction with their MetaMask wallet. This is the crucial action that records the data package permanently onto the Polygon smart contract.
● And finally, an authorized NCCR Verifier reviews this immutable on-chain record. When they sign the final approval, the smart contract automatically mints the corresponding carbon credit tokens directly to the NGO's wallet.
This entire process, from field to finance, is transparent, secure, and auditable by anyone.
