V4 – Pre-Nerf “Apex Predator”
V6 + Lucky – “Disciplined Duelist”
Resource Management
Practically non-existent — 3 curses, near-infinite sustain, and Toxic Resilience healing made mistakes trivial.
Real decision-making. Only 2 curses and weaker sustain mean every Focus Point and Rage turn matters. Poor timing costs fights.
Risk vs Reward
Low risk, high reward. You could spam abilities and recover through self-heals and immunities.
High risk, calculated reward. Lucky protects against critical fails, but poor rotations or mistimed Howls can leave her exposed.
Decision Density per Turn
3–4 core actions repeated. Straightforward: Curse → Miasma → Stun → Win.
5–6 decisions per round: when to Flurry, when to hold FP, whether to use Lucky, how to maintain cloak uptime, who to focus.
Mechanical Complexity
Linear combo path; mastery came from remembering rotations, not adapting.
Dynamic interplay between timing, advantage management, positioning, and Lucky’s 3-charge economy.
Adaptability
Very low — she overwhelmed problems rather than solving them.
High — can pivot mid-fight, use Lucky on saves or attacks, and reposition with better awareness.
Punishment for Mistakes
Minimal — resilience and heals erased errors.
Tangible — wrong FP use or failed DC can swing the fight. Requires composure under pressure.
DM Counter-Play Window
Narrow — few openings, constant disadvantage loops.
Wider — mistakes and FP exhaustion open small tactical gaps for enemies.
Skill Expression
Mostly aesthetic — flashy, but brute-force effective.
High — success feels earned; you see skill in timing, reaction use, and precision.
Player Mastery Curve
Flat. You peak fast.
Steep. There’s always room to refine focus economy, turn sequencing, and risk tolerance.
