This project focuses on creating a smart textile system that helps people maintain good posture using flexible embedded circuits. The garment includes an MPU6050 IMU sensor stitched into the upper back, flexible wiring pathways inside the fabric, and an ESP32 controller placed in a small removable pocket. The IMU continuously measures the user’s body angle. When the posture bends beyond a safe limit, a vibration motor sewn into the fabric provides an instant alert. The circuits are lightweight, flexible, and designed to move with the fabric without causing discomfort. The detachable electronics module makes charging easy and allows for safe washing of the garment. The overall design demonstrates that a low-cost smart textile can provide real-time posture correction feedback and is suitable for daily use by students, office workers, and is the main focus of this project.
